Reflections

Today was a day like many I have grown to know.
Today I look back on yesterday and sadness still lingers deep within my soul.
Today so many things run across my mind.
Today I realize that friendship is something written in books not in the hearts of men and women.
But today I have a choice and I chose to do as I please.
Because today I am alive and today I am free.
